New builds & renovations
Access around homes, extensions and renovations, planned around the work and the space on site.
For builders & renovatorsBrisbane + surrounds
Residential scaffold access for the people getting the job done. Builders, roofers, painters and renovators — talk to Do Heaps.
A quick starting point
Get a budget range for residential scaffold access. Add the length of the walls you need to reach and multiply by the working height.
Total length needing access × height to the working platform. Use scaffold face area, not the home's floor area.
Minimum 2 weeks. Extra weeks add scaffold hire only; installation, dismantling and transport stay fixed.
Add together all sides needing access. If heights vary, estimate each side's length × height and add the areas.
Example range · 80 m²
Including GST · 2 weeks' hire
A budget guide, not a confirmed quote. Site access, ground conditions, stairs, engineering and extra platforms can change the price.
01 / What we do
Work above ground starts with access that suits the site. Tell us what you're working on and we'll help work out the scaffold you need.
Access around homes, extensions and renovations, planned around the work and the space on site.
For builders & renovatorsScaffold access for roofline work, gutter replacement and repairs. Let us know the height and where your crew needs to work.
For roofers & gutter crewsReach the elevations you're working on with platforms suited to the job, from a single side to access around the house.
For painters & renderersScaffolding for exterior repairs, cladding and those awkward jobs at height. Send a photo and we can talk through the access.
For trades & homeowners02 / Keep it straightforward
Jimmy and Gary are building Do Heaps around residential scaffolding. You'll speak directly with the people organising your job.
Share the suburb, the work you're doing, a few site photos and when you need access.
We'll discuss the site, access requirements and hire period so the quote matches the job.
Once the scope and quote are agreed, we'll organise installation and discuss collection.
03 / Before you call
You don't need to have it all worked out. A conversation and a few photos are a useful start.
The site address or suburb, what work you're doing, roughly where you need access, your preferred dates and how long you expect to need the scaffold. Photos or plans help us understand the job.
Yes. Add site photos to the enquiry form below, then text Gary the enquiry link. If you have building plans, call Gary on 0478 773 147 to work out the best way to send them. Include the areas that need access and any tight spaces, sloping ground or obstacles.
Use the price estimator for a rough budget including GST. Choose your hire period, starting from two weeks. Extra weeks add scaffold hire only; installation, dismantling and transport stay fixed. Enter the total wall length multiplied by the working height. Minimum installation and dismantling charges mean small jobs don't price at a flat rate per square metre. Gary will review the site and scope before confirming a quote.
Get in touch as soon as you know your likely dates. Let us know if the job is urgent, and we'll check availability before confirming an installation date.
Start with the work you're doing and where you need to reach. We'll discuss what's needed and flag any site details or further assessment required before the job is confirmed.
Let's get it moving
Send Gary the basics, rough measurements and a few photos. An estimate is a starting point; we'll review the actual site before confirming your quote.
